Although we happily live and thrive in Colorado, the city of New Orleans holds a special place in our hearts. It’s the spot of our first “real” date and subsequently where, in 2001, we married in an intimate French Quarter courtyard ceremony. Its people, architecture, music, vibe, and the food of course keep us returning to it more than any other city.
The fleur de lis you see below and on other pages on this site is a nod to our passion and love for the city.
Other things that helped get this site out the door include: A few cold pints of New Belgium 1554 (Bill) or Lips of Faith Transatlantique Kriek (Anne), Ozo whole bean coffee + an oft-used AeroPress, our ever-growing Evernote collection of tasty cocktails thanks to our bartender friend Rachel, an aging office chair with occasionally departing casters (word is we’re supposed to stand while we work now anyway), and two pairs of well-worn hiking boots. Callie the Cat inhibited progress more than she aided it, but she’s forgiven since she’s a cat and all.

We’re eternally grateful to our friends and colleagues who have captured images of us over the years, namely Jennifer Domenick, James & Meridith Walters, Ben & Erin Chrisman, and Katrina Wallace & Andrew Mejia. And of course our own wedding photographer, New Orleans-based Johnny Chauvin. Thank you, all, and laissez les bons temps rouler!
