Oh, we’ve been SO excited to share this absolutely swoon-worthy wedding with you all! The ever fabulous Nikki & Josh were married on a beautiful late Spring day at Hollin Hall in Alexandria, Virginia. Oh, rain threatened all right, but in the end, decided to hold off much to n&j’s delight, their guests, most definitely their planner and yes, even their photographers! Also check out the post all of the fab details, which you definitely do not want to miss. Grab a lemonade, sit back and relax – this is gonna be good!
Oh, and if you want more, check out the complete set of images from Nikki & Josh’s wedding. The password is Adams and is case-sensitive. Enjoy!
This is one of Bill’s favorite shots that Anne took that day. Little girls sitting together and a boy who clearly wished to be elsewhere.
We shot Vanessa and Vinny’s wedding back in 2004. Here they are with their adorable little boy (and ring bearer) Leo.
Leo very nearly made it down the aisle for the processional, then had second thoughts. He made up for it after the ceremony by repeatedly running back and forth down the aisle.
Loved their fabric draped photo booth!
One of the great things about photography is the opportunity to tell multiple stories within a single moment, such as during the cake cutting.
S’mores on a stick! Sign me up, please.
Dear n&j,
Ever since your sister’s wedding back in 2004, when we initially and completely fell in love with your family, Nikki, we looked forward to your own wedding day in hopes to be a part of it. Watching you and Josh celebrate with such relaxed joy and exuberance on a day where the rain very nearly threatened to turn your vision inside out (or outside in, as it were), was such fun for us. Each little item that you and Pam painstaking collected over the years turned an already picturesque Hollin Hall into a magnificent sight and fully expressed your personalities and the sweet, warm feeling you wished to convey to your guests. It’s hard to imagine a way in which it could have gone better that day.
Thank you so much for making that call well over a year ago to share the news of your engagement. Seeing you both again and spending the day with your families was a highlight, and we were thrilled to be a part of your celebration. We wish you many, many happy years together filled with lots of love, laughter and light.
xoxo…
