For the third year in a row, three of our absolute favorite planners in the whole world, teamed up once again to throw an end of Summer party for DC area wedding professionals – held this time at the Lotus Lounge (complete with Buddha-tini’s!). It’s something we look forward to every year. Not only do we get to attend an always-swanky party, we LOVE getting to see so many of our friends in colleagues in one place. Thanks, Pam, Jamie and Laura for including us! The fantabulous Katherine Patsas Nevitt of KPN Hair & Makeup helped the ladies truly put the gorgeous in their gorgeous affair, too! (Psssssst…she also does bridal hair and makeup!!

(Special thanks to our friends at Love Life Images for documenting the event and bringing their Snapshot Studio for us all to play in! You practically couldn’t get us out of it, as you can see below. We hope you’ll indulge us as we step on the other side of the lens for a change. And didn’t I tell you in the last FAB Finds on photo booth props, that people will make their own props? See the hubs below. 🙂 )

The beautiful hostesses! Jamie Sears of Simply Chic Events, Laura Weatherly of Engaging Affairs and Pam Barefoot of ATrendy Wedding.

Favorites from the night…

Bill not getting the memo.

Looks like he got his one though. ;-D

With Pam and her wonderful hubby, Doug!

Jamie and Jessica of Simply Chic Events along with Katherine of KPN!

With Jamie, Pam, Terri Eaves of Bash! and Jennifer Domenick of Love Life!

Bill “finding” a photo booth prop.

Looks like Anne “found” one, too.

Yea, we love us some photo booth action.

And a few of the swank party itself, courtesy of Love Life Images…

Nick Perez of Multiflor provided flowers in beautiful shades of pink and Capital Decor decked out the club entrance with fuschia draping.

Shortbread cookie + strawberry milk shooter = major YUM! Thanks Well Dunn Catering!

Wouldn’t you know we somehow missed these buddha cookies (too much time in the photobooth perhaps?! ;)) but they sure looked good! Thanks to Lara from Fluffy Thoughts.

Alas, the night always goes by way too fast, but hey, there’s always next year to look forward to! Cheers, ladies!
