Happy Friday everyone! We have a fantastic, colorful, and fun wedding to share with you today, in two acts. It’s Sarah & Ori, who recently celebrated their wedding at King Family Vineyard on a beautiful fall afternoon. These two have been incredibly patient and we’re so excited to finally be able to share this lovely wedding! In fact we have so many fun moments and sweet details, we had to break it up into TWO posts. Check out the first part below, then come back in a little while, after the intermission, for act two, complete with the dream team.
Are you ready to see it all? Check out Sarah & Ori’s complete set of wedding images here. The password is Sarah’s maiden name and is case-sensitive.
Love the escort cards on rustic shutters!
Love the fox theme!
In lieu of a guestbook, friends and family chose a favorite postcard to write their best wishes to s&o and put them in the mailbox. SO cute and fun!
Sarah looking gor-geous! And how much do we love parasols?!
How’s this for first sight? Ori came prepared, just in case our cameras happened to spontaneously erupt in flames. ๐ LOVE it!
LOVE King Family and their gorgeous horses!
Sweet candid during the family formals.
Anne absolutely loved the girls blue dresses with pink shoes!
Pat’s Floral Designs & Jennifer Carroll helped knock this wedding out of the park. As usual! ๐ (Side note: Jennifer recently re-launched her luscious monthly newsletter, Celebrating Everyday Life, in an online magazine format. Take a peek – it’s FULL of beautiful images and fantastic ideas!
The incredibly beautiful chuppah lovingly made by Sarah’s grandfather. The ENTIRE structure!
Ori begins his tish with male friends and groomsmen, while his dad takes a moment to document his teachings, before being constantly and cheerfully interrupted by his friends with toasts. We love this tradition! Such fun.
Sarah sits for the ketubah signing and bedeken (veiling of the bride).
Getting the moves down for the hora later that evening.
Not quite Fall yet that day so the parasols came in *very* handy.
We’ve never captured ourselves in a shot quite like this back to back. Anne (right) was getting Sarah & Ori’s walk to the vineyards while Bill (left) was capturing the rest of the recessional.
That’s one big group of people! The backdrop and late afternoon sun at King Family Vineyard just can’t be beat.
Up next…the happy couples yihud among the vines (you definitely don’t want to miss that!), reception, and, of course, dancing! Be sure to check out Part 2!
Dear s&o,
It was readily apparent from the day we met, broke bread, and shared wine, that we were going to have a blast at your wedding. You made it clear early on you were all about the fun and irreverent, while still keeping an eye on cultural traditions important to you both. You made the tish your own, Ori, accompanied of course by the “helpful” comments and warm toasts from your many and varied friends. It was a great start to the day and set the mood for Sarah’s appearance for your thoughtful and touching ketubah signing. AND we loved how you called your “first site”, first light. Can we trademark that? ;-D
You really embraced the vineyard’s look, taking in its warm colors and incorporating rich pinks and purples into your unique decor. And the care and love that you showed for all your guests, as well as us, was abundantly evident throughout the evening, including your energetic hora. (Bonus points for your chair handlers narrowly escaping the moss covered chandeliers!) And to top it off with Carpe Donuts made on-the-spot? Well, talk about deep-frying a path right into a pair of photographers’ hearts! We were so grateful to have been there to capture that and all those great moments for you both throughout the evening. Congratulations, and thank you for having us!
xoxo,
…a&b
