One of our last weddings of the year was back at one of our favorite venues in Washington, DC – the St. Regis, for Marc & Sara’s downtown celebration. We were so happy to be working with the ever-talented Simply Chic Events team, so not only was it a gorgeous affair, everything of course went off without a hitch. And the weather could not have been more perfect. (Gotta love those fall colors and light!) Some of our favorite moments from your wedding day include:
Your first sight, and Marc’s look on his face and his excited smile when he saw you for the first time, Sara. When that scavenger hunt team descended on you and your wedding party in Lafayette Park, delighted to have found a bride to propose to. The oh-look-at-that expressions on the faces of your bridal party seeing your wedding band join your engagement ring just after your ceremony. Your dad’s touching toast, prompting a few tears. Marc’s insistence of that tiny little piece of wedding cake fed to him be followed by a self-served, nearly airborne, gigantic piece. Air guitar. And lots of it.
