At the end of each wedding season, we enjoy going back through our clients’ images throughout the year. It serves two purposes: Primarily, we get to reinforce some great memories we’ve had of particular moments within each wedding we photographed. Secondarily, it helps us learn so we can continually improve, becoming better photographers.
We were lucky enough to have a wide variety of weddings we photographed all around the country in 2014, so it was incredibly difficult narrowing literally thousands of photos to just a few. So we decided to divide and conquer. This first post holds our favorite moments in B&W wedding photography. We wanted each image to tell its own story, earning its place here with its emotional impact and of course its composition and light.
So settle in with your favorite hot beverage of choice (we’re already there, with tea for Anne and coffee for Bill), and stay nice and warm inside if you’re in a chilly part of the country, which is pretty much everywhere today!
