Kaitlyn & Mark’s Wedding at the Mellon Auditorium
It’s not often we have two big events at the cavernous Mellon Auditorium within a couple of months of each other, but every time we do we’re so impressed with the space’s transformation. Is it just us or does that place just say historic DC glamour? It’s such a stunning venue and the glittering decor really set the mood for Kaitlyn & Mark’s festive Fall celebration. They, along with their families and friends, had us grinning from ear to ear at so many of the touching moments throughout their day. Some of our favorite moments from your wedding weekend’s celebration include: Your mischievous grin, Kaitlyn, as you approached Mark for your first sight that day. The patient waiting and then a quick joke between you and your dad as you prepared to walk down the aisle to lighten the mood. The tender whispering in each other’s ears later that night when you thought no one was watching. Your grace and laughter during poignant toasts from your closest friends and family. Capturing a packed and energetic dance floor. (We might want to look into more insurance!) That your smiles, especially yours Kaitlyn, shined even brighter than the dazzling decor.
