Something Teal

We’re offering complimentary wedding photography, including coverage with Anne & Bill plus high-resolution master files for a deserving couple whose lives have been touched by breast or ovarian cancer themselves or from a close family member.

Anne’s mother Katherine passed away September 10, 2001 from an aggressive and hereditary form of ovarian cancer. In her honor and to promote awareness and research, we’re helping one couple a year with their wedding photography.

The genetic component of the BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutations results in a significantly increased risk of breast and ovarian cancer. Anne has this mutatation for BRCA2, as did her mom, and has already taken steps to minimize her risk. You may have also heard of Angelina Jolie’s preventive efforts as a result of similar genetic makeup.

If you have a history of breast, ovarian, or prostate cancer in your family, please consider getting tested. Arm yourself with information and a strong support community at FORCE. Most metropolitan areas have a local chapter.

Write us a note. Tell us about your experience with breast or ovarian cancer and how it has affected your lives. Make sure to include your wedding date (our availability will be key here). Even better, write to us before you’ve set your date.

We’d of course be happy to go wherever you’re marrying, but please note locations outside the metro Denver area may incur a nominal travel fee to cover our expenses.

We look forward to hearing from you!
