No matter your perspective, life is really complex. It’s moving every which way and seems impossible to confidently predict. Whether peering through a microscope or a telescope, our physical universe is unfathomably and impressively sophisticated. Even this plant’s leaves offer no discernible order to their direction. They simply grow in the direction of what feels right—that which offers the most nourishment from sky and ground.

It sure seems like it’s this beautiful “mess” which makes our wild human ride worthwhile.

Enjoy this in your home or see more from Oregon.

P.S. Today’s the last day to participate in this season’s Love Notes Postcard Project!
