Let’s take a moment this holiday season to appreciate design and decor for other parts of the year too! We were out for a restorative stroll one summer in New Orleans’s Garden District following a major surgery for moi. As we passed by this empty, grassy lot, a sole attraction caught our eye: this shopping cart adorned with beads and other paraphernalia — a sight not necessarily out of place in the Big Easy even though it was far from any grocery store. We have no idea how it showed up there or who decorated it, but it made our day.
