Sometimes the best move is just to lie down for a bit.

This inviting hammock stretched just so between a pair of palm trees just says, “Try me!” as if you really ever had a choice. We found it on a Thanksgiving break’s stay at Palm Springs’ iconic Parker Hotel. Funnily, we’d assumed the place would have emptied ahead of the holiday weekend. Instead, we learned many families make an annual pilgrimage from LA to enjoy a feast far, far away from their home kitchen. Nonetheless, we found pockets of peacefulness, particularly this hammock early in the morning.

It’s really the perfect place to just not bother with a snooze button. You never wanted the alarm anyway.
